Phill Butler on Well Connected

In more than forty years of traveling and working around the world, I’ve consistently seen good people doing good things – but often in isolation – without fellowship, encouragement, or coordination with others. Knowing Jesus’ desire for us expressed in John 17:21, it seemed that there was a major gap between what we believed and what we experienced in our ministries.
In 1985 it was that realization which motivated me to dedicate myself full time to helping God’s people find ways to work together more effectively and with a greater sense of fulfillment. The years since have been filled with spiritual adventure, enormous challenges, and great satisfaction as, along with a growing community of colleagues and like-minded friends, we have explored the value and wonder of Kingdom partnerships, networks, and other forms of collaboration for Christ’s glory.

Along the way, working with hundreds of fellow believers, we have seen the remarkable benefits of God’s people intentionally working together. On the journey we have learned a great deal about Biblical principles and practical dynamics that make all the difference when working together with others.

The book, Well Connected, distills the experience of these many years and gives you a powerful tool you can use with others – helping them see more clearly the value of Kingdom collaboration. It provides a Biblical and theoretical framework for our work together. But, possibly most important, it focuses on the practical, “how to?” questions that we face in trying to bring God’s people together. Over 80 stories and case histories are rooted in years of field experience.
